Now that your referral partner has committed, it’s time to create their personalized Ownwell landing page!
Getting Started
Go to the "Adopt My Mortgage" tab in Ownwell.
Under "Lead Sources", you’ll see your own profile listed. This is because you can create both:
Your own landing page to generate leads.
Landing pages for your referral partners to help them engage their clients.
Before proceeding, make sure your Business Profile is complete - this personalizes not only your landing pages but also emails and reports. To update it, click on the profile avatar in the top-right corner of Ownwell.
Creating the Referral Partner's Landing Page
Click “Add New” to create a new referral partner.
Enter their contact details and profile information.
Use a high-quality, professional profile photo - this helps build trust with their clients. (This can always be updated later.)
Once created, click “View” to generate their unique landing page.
Customizing the Landing Page
Set a custom URL:
We recommend using the referral partner’s name with hyphens for readability (e.g., dan-macdonald).
A human-readable URL improves clarity and professionalism.
Add a personalized welcome message:
This message, along with the referral partner’s photo, will greet their clients at the top of the landing page.
Need inspiration? Click here for a template you can use or customize.
(Optional) Add a Loom video:
Ideally, record this with your referral partner so they can introduce both Ownwell and you to their clients.
If that’s not possible, ask the referral partner to record a short video addressing their clients.
If recording a video is a barrier, you can create one yourself, explaining the benefits of Ownwell reports for homeowners.
Once completed, your referral partner will have a fully customized landing page to share with their clients, making it easy for them to opt in and start receiving valuable insights.
