Now that your referral partner has committed, it’s time to add them to Ownwell 🎉

Login to your Ownwell account & Click on Adopt My Mortgage at the top of your screen.
The Adopt My Mortgage page is where you’re going to manage, add, invite, and delete partners in Ownwell. Click on the button that says “Add or Invite Partner”
Add the Referral Partner’s Information - These details are super important because they will be featured on the co-branded homeownership reports. We want to make sure we have a professional headshot and all of the information they’d like to be included in the co-branded report.
Now you’re going to indicate whether they’re a limited partner or a gifted partner.
A limited partner does not have their own Ownwell account and will not have access to a landing page. Limited partners cannot add or manage clients, but they can be linked to your existing clients for co-branded reports.
A gifted partner has full access to their own Ownwell account and will have their own personalized landing page. Gifted partners can add clients via manual entry, CSV import, or landing page and shares your client capacity.
*IF you’ve selected Gifted Partner - decide how many clients seats you’d like to gift (you can gift seats in increments of 10).
Once you’ve added their partner profile information and have selected the type of partner, you’re going to click the Create button.
*Note that Gifted Partners will receive an automated email invite which will prompt them to create their account.
In the Adopt My Mortgage page, you’ll also have access to copy the invite link and share it with your referral partner directly.
Important things to note:
You can edit or delete a referral partner at any time with the trash can icon to the right of the referral partner (on the Adopt My Mortgage page).
Limited partners can be upgraded to Gifted partners at any time. Click on the pencil icon to the right of their name to update them to a Gifted partner.
Once you delete a gifted referral partner, you’ll receive your client capacity back in your total client capacity in ~30 days.
