In short - there are a few ways to update or manage a matured mortgage in Ownwell:
You OR the client can edit the mortgage details in the existing file. This is recommended for users who import clients via CSV. When we keep the same file and update it, this ensures that we continue to provide homeowners with the report they've come to know and love. It also will ensure there are no gaps in their experience (so we don't miss a month).
If you're using the API and you have client capacity available, the new funded mortgage (renewal file) will import into Ownwell once it's funded. The system will naturally flag duplicates in the Issues module and you'll simply delete the old file.
