How Do I Add a Loom Video to My Landing Page?

Learn how to add a personalized Loom video to your Ownwell landing page.

Written by Arthur Rees

A personalized Loom video is one of the easiest ways to make your landing page feel more personal and increase homeowner engagement.

Instead of sending clients an impersonal sign up page, a short video helps homeowners understand:

  • who you are

  • what the reports are

  • why they matter

  • how they can benefit from them

  • why they should work with you

Clients are far more likely to activate their reports when they hear directly from you.

Why Add a Loom Video?

Your landing page represents your brand, your service, and your value as a broker.

A personalized Loom video helps put a face to the experience and gives homeowners a reason to engage with you instead of treating the page like another generic mortgage signup form.

People trust people. A short personalized video helps homeowners feel more connected to you and the advice you provide. It gives them a better understanding of who you are, why the reports matter, and how the information can support their financial goals over time.

For brokers, adding a Loom video can help:

  • increase report sign ups

  • improve homeowner engagement

  • differentiate you from banks and generic online lenders

  • reinforce your personal brand and expertise

For homeowners, the video also creates context around why the reports matter. A quick walkthrough can help explain:

  • mortgage savings opportunities

  • home value tracking

  • equity growth

  • refinancing opportunities

  • purchasing power insights

Even a simple one minute video can make your landing page feel significantly more personal and trustworthy.

How to Record Your Loom Video?

Open Loom

Open Loom and choose:

• Screen + Camera recording

This allows homeowners to see both your screen and your camera bubble during the walkthrough.

Open Your Landing Page or Report

Before recording, open a sample homeowner report or the Test Client digest from your account.

Specifically, you want to hit the "Generate Digest Link" button to ensure your visual is a real live report.

This allows you to walk homeowners through the report visually while explaining the value of each section.

Record Your Walkthrough

Keep the tone warm, conversational, and confident.

As you speak, briefly walk homeowners through:

• home value tracking

• mortgage savings opportunities

• equity growth

• purchasing power insights

• mortgage paydown progress

Do not worry about making the video perfect. Authentic videos generally perform better than heavily scripted recordings.
