What are the Required Fields in Ownwell?

A list of required fields - You will need this information to successfully add a client to Ownwell.

When adding a client to Ownwell - manually, with one of our APIs, or via CSV Import - there are fields that are required ✍🏻

The following fields are necessary for a successful client import:

​Borrower Details

  • Primary Borrower First Name

  • Primary Borrower Last Name

  • Primary Borrower Email Address

  • Household Income

Subject Property Details

  • Use type (owner-occupied, rental, etc.)

  • Property type (detached, condo, etc.)

  • Original value (i.e. purchase price, estimated value, etc.)

  • Unit

  • Street number

  • Street name

  • Street type

  • Street direction

  • City

  • Province

  • Postal Code

The Original Mortgage Details

  • Transaction type (purchase, refinance, etc.)

  • Closing date (must be in the past)

  • Original mortgage amount

  • Original mortgage rate

  • Original mortgage rate type

  • Term (in months)

  • Amortization (in months)

  • Lender

*Note: The only instance where you can add a client with limited information is through the landing page (click here to learn about landing pages) or using the partial CSV Import (click here to access our data import templates).

The following fields are OPTIONAL but recommended:

  • Primary borrower phone number

  • Primary borrower credit score

  • Subject property property taxes

  • Subject property Heating

  • Subject property condo maintenance fee
