Here's how to get your referral partners on board with Ownwell!

The first step in getting started with Adopt My Mortgage is securing commitment from your referral partners.

Remember - You're offering a unique, automated solution to a real problem realtors face - Client retention. Ownwell keeps them top-of-mind with their clients effortlessly, with no ongoing work required. It helps them stand out by providing a valuable service that others aren’t offering. Best of all, it can surface new opportunities that wouldn’t have otherwise happened - like a client realizing, through their personalized report, that they can afford to upgrade to a larger home.

Crafting Your Pitch

Here’s a great example of how one of our customers introduced Adopt My Mortgage to their referral partners:

We strongly recommend video calls or in-person meetings over email. This allows you to walk them through the pitch deck and showcase a sample Ownwell report in real time.

Top Tip: If an in-person or video presentation isn’t possible, create a test client in Ownwell with a compelling sample report to send as an example.

Securing Their Commitment

Once you’ve piqued their interest, get them to commit. Remember:

  • The access you provide to Ownwell is valuable and scarce, making this an exclusive opportunity for them.

  • They need to promote Ownwell to their client database to drive curiosity and encourage homeowners to opt into the report.

  • Set a launch date for when they will announce Ownwell to their database (ideally Monday morning).
